Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBoutique Mid City law firm seeks paralegal to primarily handle personal injury cases. Our firm represents a diverse clientele in a variety of fields, including plaintiff and defense work in the areas of personal injury, property and casualty insurance, toxic torts, medical malpractice and estate planning. This position will chiefly focus on personal injury claims, but may be assigned other types of cases, as well. We are seeking a highly motivated paralegal to join our work family. In this role, you will provide support to our three attorneys and assist in all phases of the case through the litigation process. ResponsibilitiesManage, all aspects of, your assigned cases with the support of the attorney.Communicate with clients in regards to the their caseDrafting of necessary documentsE-filing locally, as well as, federallyOur Ideal candidate has:Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate (preferred, not required)Exceptional attention to detailStrong written skillsSuperior Microsoft Office skillsExperience working with Clio Management system (preferred but not required)Willingness to work with multiple attorneys and other professionalsProfessional demeanor and discretionAbility to prioritize work, set and meet internal deadlinesStrong work ethicHighly organized with document management experienceExcellent research skillsAbility to multitask and work well under pressure3 years experience as a paralegal in Louisiana (Preferred)
