A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support positive direction instruction and assistance to individuals with mental intellectual & developmental and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. We have many programs throughout Albuquerque! To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with prior experience with intense high behaviors both verbal and physical. You will provide supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities people who are faced with metal health behavioral and/or significant medical challenges.
