Experienced Employee Development SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) organization is currently seeking anExperienced Employee Development Specialist - Assembly/Modifications to join our Production System Training (PST) Midwest (MW) team in Berkeley MO.ThePST MW Delivery team is responsible for the delivery of Technical Learning Solutions for the Fabrication Assembly and Delivery of Aircraft and other Aerospace Products. As an Employee Development Specialist within PST MW Delivery you will handle a diverse range of responsibilities to assist our Production Operations and Quality Business Partners.Position Responsibilities:Perform as an instructor/facilitator/technical performance coach independently in a specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of expertise including but not limited to Aircraft Structures Aircraft Mechanical Aircraft Modifications Aircraft Inspection Aircraft Drawings Aircraft Process Specifications Military Technical Data and/or Electronic Work InstructionsConduct learning using a variety of delivery methods techniques and platformsServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide learning consultation servicesProvide extensive professional & technical assistance in both formal classroom and on-the-job learning.Render professional assistance to resolve difficult or unusual problemsFacilitate work teams providing necessary training and leading problem resolution and process improvementExpand and enhance expertise in various areas to ensure flexibility across the collective Statement of Work (SOW)Interpret regulations and standards ensure delivery of learning align with commercial government regulatory and organizational standards and specificationsEmphasize safety precautions to be taken as applicableAssist Functional Development by serving as a SME as neededEdit existing solutions or create temporary solutions to meet a unique and/or urgent business need as neededAble to travel up to 10% of work time if neededThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience performing aircraft structures production maintenance and/or training on military aircraftExperience performing aircraft structural and mechanical workExperience training and/or mentoring in a technical environmentExperience reading and interpreting Technical DataAbility to travel up to 10% of work timePreferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Experience in Fighter Jet Structures procedures i.e. precision drilling fastener installation/removal bonding and grounding torquing safetying devices etc.Experience transferring knowledge through formal or informal modes of trainingDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift: This position is for 1st shift.
