Experienced Employee Development SpecialistsCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe BDS Military Delivery Center (MDC) is currently seeking an Experienced Employee Development Specialist to join the group in Tukwila and Everett WA.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in training and coaching employee through various stages of learning mentoring and assisting system navigation to support our program customers. The candidate who has a passion for training the next generation of skilled workers. This position supports our KC-46 Tanker Pegasus P8 Poseidon and E7 program curriculum which provides support to our Boeing Defense Space and & Security.Position Responsibilities:Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching observing and tracking student performance adding key insights to enhance the delivery conducting preparation delivering and rostering training to satisfy training requirementsConduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques and customize learning programs courses presentations and guides as neededEmphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training providedMaintain a positive and productive learning environment and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policiesPerform individual and group assessments and recommend process and performance improvementsServes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training consultation servicesProvide extensive technical assistance in both formal classroom and hands-on training on Manufacturing fabrication assembly and operationsConduct testing and evaluation per proceduresEvaluate technical aerospace skills training needsDevelop post evaluation recommendations to determine appropriate training content objectives and designIdentify and validate training by observing measuring testing reviewing and analyzing training to ensure that learning objectives are met effectivelyUnderstands regulations and standards ensures delivery of courseware complies with commercial government regulatory and organizational standards and specifications.Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g. curriculum developers instructional systems designers engineers programmers strategic learning advisors etc.) to develop creative training enhancements guided skills practices job aids capstone projects and activities to assist learners during and after trainingLead projects designed to produce educational deliverablesPerform ongoing monitoring of stakeholders operating environment and key business measures and objectivesIdentify potential issues that impact performanceCoach and develop less experienced instructorsConduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions to qualify additional instructors as requiredAssess requirements and schedule courses and instructorsAnalyze validate optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire recall and transfer employeesTraining Administrative assignment and supportSupport off-shift as necessaryBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with giving presentations and public speaking3 years of experience with electrical assembly and/or electronic materials3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)3 years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings1 years of experience using reporting toolsAbility to travel up to 10% of the time both domestic and internationalPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environmentMilitary Delivery Center (MDC) process knowledge of system usage and fundamental understanding of BDS processesStrong experience with factory and flight line operation (fabrication installations testing troubleshooting)Strong experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS)Experience with operating/navigating: BAC specifications (D6-36911) Standard Work Instructor (SWI) Redars MESciExperience with designing/developing course content and instructional materialsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience using My Learning or other Learning Management SystemsExperience organizing prioritizing and paying attention to detail while ensuring accuracyShift Work:This position is for 1st shift but will support other shifts as necessary.
