Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEarthborne, Inc. is an authorized distributor for JCB, Rayco, Morbark, and other construction and forestry equipment lines in Eastern United States providing top quality products and services since 1976.Due to an increase in business, Earthborne is seeking Field Service Technicians who enjoy traveling. These positions will be based out of Warrington, PA but will be in the field ninety-nine percent traveling to other locations (generally out-of-state and for days / weeks at a time) when necessary to fulfill job requirements. Much of our customer base is located east of the Mississippi River. Your training will be provided on a one on one basis in the field by a senior technician. Each machine is sold with a 5 year maintenance contractResponsibilitiesTravel to other locations when necessary to fulfill job requirementsBuild relationships with customersPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenanceTrain operators in the proper daily and periodic machine care and operation of the machineRepair machines as neededBe the ‘face’ of Earthborne to our valued customers and their field employeesService regular customers in accordance with long term service contracts. Visit each machine four times a yearQualificationsCustomer service experience3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment or similarExperience working on tree care of forestry equipment preferredStrong diagnostic skillsGood communications skillsCompetence with hand, air and electrical toolsAbility to consistently repair components and equipment in line with manufacturer's standards.Must be self-motivated and trustworthyAbility to work independently and handle responsibility to make field decisionOwn Basic Tools for equipment repairWillingness to travel for two to three weeks at a timeMust have a good driving record.
