Experienced HVAC Service Technician at Ellis Air Conditioning & Heating

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of independently diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Residential & Commercial HVAC technician.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, rooftop units, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Install HVAC equipment/parts and system upgrades as needed.
• Test system performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Follow all company safety policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service calls as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC service and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions, including attics, rooftops, and confined spaces.
