Experienced Lean Practitioner (Process Improvement)Company:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Lean Practitioner (Process Improvement) to join our Strategy Business Integration & Lean team to support Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) transformation in San Antonio TX.This role requires deep Industrial Engineering expertise strong Lean background and advanced capability in applying Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts Lean methodologies data analytics and continuous improvement practices to improve flow safety quality productivity and senior-level position will help shape Boeing San Antonios culture of excellence enabling flow improvements defect reduction workforce capability advancement and alignment.Position Responsibilities:Support development and application of advanced Industrial Engineering methods in the MRO environmentDesign and optimize production systems integrating facilities tooling personnel and supply chainDevelop Value Stream Mappings bottleneck analyses and constraint-based plans to improve aircraft flowImprove turn-time through sequencing workflow and standard operations optimizationConnect Lean principles BPS and Boeing Values into daily operational executionDevelop and deploy Lean strategies across MRO programs and support functionsFacilitate Lean workshops such as BPSM/RSPS AIW Kaizen and VSMDevelop systematic approaches to capture and replicate best practicesLead creation of Lean tools tailored to complex MRO work environmentsCoach leaders and frontline teams on Lean methods and behaviorsTailor training and messaging to different organizational audiencesSupport LIFT cultural activation (Leadership Integrity Focus Trust)Serve as Lean SME during program reviews and operational meetingsOperationalize data analytics for flow improvements and quality reductionDevelop dashboards and models for cycle-time productivity and performance metricsDeliver executive-level analysis and recommendations using IE principlesLead cross-functional teams involving Production Control Quality Tooling Engineering and ProgramsSupport facility modification planning and aircraft induction/exit optimizationManage project lifecycles including planning scheduling execution and closureSupport recovery planning and sitewide performance visibility effortsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3 years implementing Lean principles in production MRO or aerospace environments3 years facilitating Lean workshops (BPSM AIW 3P Kaizen VSM)3 years of experience with Industrial Engineering1 years of experience leading measurable value stream improvements1 years of project management experience1 years of experience developing executive-level presentationsEffective time management communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or related fieldProject Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)Experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)Experience in MRO or complex aerospace environmentsStrong ability to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in MS Project Smartsheet Tableau or similar toolsDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
