This is a great opportunity to take your hospitality skills to the next level with a company committed to the nurturing and professional development of its employees.Our Line Cooks work alongside the Chef de Cuisine in an open kitchen that provides diners with an animated and sensory-filled dining experience. Our Line Cooks are essential to ensuring menu items are cooked, plated and presented according to menu specifications.Primary Responsibilities:Inspect assigned workstation for cleanliness and sufficient inventory and suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Plate prepared foods based on chefs guidanceEnsure food is properly stored and rotated, and adhere to safe food handling standardsMaintain a clean and orderly workstation and help maintain overall kitchen cleanlinessContribute to an overall positive and collaborative team environmentQualifications and Skills:Previous experience as a restaurant Line Cook 3 to 5 yearsExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresExceptional knife skills and strong product knowledgeThrive on working with a team in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detailBasic food safety understanding and practiceAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with team membersHardworking with a positive and upbeat attitudeReliable transportation to and from workCulinary school education a plusFood Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hireBenefits and Perks:Food discounts at all Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts restaurantsHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (full time employees)Paid Time Off (full time employees)Flexible work schedules to accommodate school, life, and familyFun and friendly work environmentOpportunity to learn and grow with the companyExcellence Performance Reviews with Opportunities for Advancement
