Experienced Quality Systems SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test and Evaluation Quality Team is looking for an Experienced Quality System Specialist to join our team in New Orleans Louisiana at the Michoud Assembly Facility. Their primary responsibility will be to maintain quality directives and ensure compliance with the quality management system standards.Some travel might be required less than 10% of the time.Position Responsibilities:Reviews proposals contracts regulatory program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program developmentPrepares and maintains Quality directives policies processes procedures and metrics to assure program contract customer regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements are deployedAnalyzes process data metrics models and flows to identify root cause of problemsParticipates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementationConducts research compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capabilityConducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions and develops a coordinated response for management review and approvalConducts hardware software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards configuration assurance related business regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to managementAnalyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials parts and equipmentWorks under general directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 year of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)3 years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelors degree or higherExperience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standardExperience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teamsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.NASA Access:This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
