Experienced staff auditors are provided a wider variety of diversified auditing and accounting assignments under the supervision of different professionals. Assessment of performance is based on the quality of work application of auditing and accounting knowledge and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesPerforming audit or review procedures or assisting in other projects as assignedUnderstanding the clients business and industry and accounting and control systemsDeveloping an understanding of SingerLewaks audit approachAssessing risks and evaluating the clients internal control structurePerforming and documenting analytical procedures substantive tests and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issuesReviewing or assisting in the drafting of financial statements and other client deliverablesSupervising staff auditors as requiredQualificationsBachelors Degree or equivalent in Accounting or related fieldAt least one year of experience in public accountingMust be CPA eligible and working towards obtaining the license by taking and passing the applicable state CPA exam or holds a current and valid CPAs licenseDemonstrated ability to communicate (i.e. read write speak) with business level fluency in EnglishAbility to travel to assigned client locations as neededAbility to perform most phases of a client engagement from planning to issuanceProficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States and United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards$68000 - $82000 a yearSingerLewak is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal state and local laws regarding recruitment and hiring.
