We are preparing to expand to 24/7 operations and are seeking a skilled motivated Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistantto join our overnight team.Our overnight RVTs play a vital role in patient stabilization critical care and treatment support while maintaining a calm and efficient hospital environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and IV catheter placement (cephalic saphenous jugular)Administer IV SQ and IM medications; prepare and maintain CRIsSet up and monitor oxygen delivery systems (rebreather non-rebreather oxygen cages)Obtain radiographs; assist with ultrasounds and diagnostic imagingConduct in-house laboratory testing (CBC chemistry urinalysis cytology fecal analysis)Provide advanced patient monitoring (ECG BP SpO₂ temperature)Assist in anesthesia induction monitoring and surgical prepSupport and perform emergency procedures including CPR gastric lavage and cystocentesisMaintain accurate medical records treatment sheets and communication with DVMsHandle and restrain dogs cats and occasional exotics with safety and compassionParticipate in aftercare and compassionate care services when neededQualificationsActive California RVT license preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency urgent care or critical care preferredStrong technical competency and comfort with emergency triageAbility to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environmentExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetWhy Youll Love Working Here Supportive experienced overnight team Differential pay for weekends and overnights Diverse emergency caseload for continual skill growth Opportunities for leadership and professional development Collaborative culture and management that values your inputJoin us as we prepare to launch 24/7 operations and grow into our next chapter.Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Veterinary Experience,Animal Care,Basic Math,Animal Husbandry,Veterinary Assistant,Veterinary Technician Experience,Vital Signs Experience,Animal Handling,Animal Restraint,Pet Care,Medical Imaging,Medication Administration Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 25 - 30
