If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity in the automotive industry at a growing company Honda World is your destination!What We OfferLatest service department technologyFlexible schedule.3 day work week first week3 1/2 the next full timeUniforms and Laundry Service providedClimate & Air Quality Controlled ShopLocker room and break roomInternal Inventory Control system that greatly limits time waiting at Parts CounterTraining Program that pairs new employees with a current employeeduring the first month4000 ROs per monthMedical dental and vision insuranceLifeinsurance401K MatchPaid vacation and HolidaysEmployee purchase and service discountsUpbeat and progressive work environmentHands-On Management team with great tenure at the dealership and with HondaCareer advancement opportunitiesSUMMARYInitiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records.Responsibilities:Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customers description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.Develops estimates by costing materials supplies and labor; calculating customers payment including deductibles.Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms problems and causes discovered as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customers approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers publications.Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.RequirementsCustomer service skillSales experienceProficiency with computers and technologyAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to customersAdvanced skills:While most employer did not require the following skills multiple job listings included them as preferred skills.
