This position is a gateway to the CMA Technician Apprentice Training Program and the Career Path to become a Certified Nissan Master Technician. Requirements:Key Responsibilities:Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.Diagnose vehicle issues based on customer concerns and thorough inspections.Communicate effectively with the parts department to source necessary components.Save and tag warranty parts or customer-requested items for review.Conduct safety and service checks to identify additional work needed or recommended.Create and share video multi-point inspections with service advisors to support transparency and upselling.Document all work performed and recommendations clearly on repair orders.Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality control.Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay current with technical bulletins.Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and customer vehicles.Ensure proper use and return of dealership-owned tools and manuals.Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:1–2 years of formal education in Automotive Technology through high school, trade school, or community college.1–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar automotive technician role.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and grow within the role.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Drug and Alcohol PolicyCMA is a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
