The Accounting Internship Program will place selected candidates with our Corporate Accounting teams in Bellevue WA. The intern will focus on external/ financial reporting processes with additional opportunities to gain exposure to related functions such as general accounting A/P and forecast. We are pleased you are seeking an internship with PACCAR and wish you the best of luck!Internships include unique learning opportunities such as:Learn first-hand from the industrys top professionals.Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers.Develop mentoring relationships with experienced accountants.Gain valuable hands-on experience.The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June2026.Job Functions / Responsibilities Participate in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings including:Compiling and consolidating of financial data from multiple divisionsReviewing workpapers for completeness and accuracyProofreading drafts of financial statementsAssist in the preparation of month-end financial closing procedures and forecast including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.Support A/P function with invoice processing.Engage in continuous process improvements projects.Contribute to additional projects that provide financial analysis to support managements decision-making.Qualifications / Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail; proofreading experience is a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyHighly organized with strong time management skillsSelf-motivated and resourceful; able to work independently and collaborativelyDemonstrates professionalism in all interactionsAnalytical mindset with critical thinking capabilitiesComfortable working in fast-paced environments with a sense of urgencyEducation Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduation program preferably sophomore junior or senior standingIntern Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR intern you have a full range of benefit options including:Competitive salary and 401k with up to a 5% company matchMedical dental and vision plans for you and your familySick LeaveFlexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA)EAP services: including wellness plans estate planning financial counseling and moreGlobal Fortune 500 company with a wide array of growth training and development opportunitiesWork alongside experienced goal-oriented colleagues recognized as experts in their fieldAdditional Job Board Information At PACCAR we value talent and promote growth and development.
