This role ensures that all products are manufactured in accordance with established quality and safety specifications.Responsibilites:Operate plastic extrusion machine at a rate that equals or exceeds quality and production standardsTroubleshoot routine process problems and assist with tooling and product changeoversMaintain adequate supplies for all line equipment to ensure continual operation Complete required quality checks and production reports in an efficient and timely mannerFollow all Standard Operating Procedures Safety Standards and Safe Work PracticesMaintain work area in an organized safe and clean mannerProvide relief to other members of team as necessaryAble to perform Packer functionsQualificationsQualifications:2 years of extrusion experience 2 years manufacturing experience preferably in the plastics industryDemonstrated mechanical aptitude is essentialAbility to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essentialFlexibility to work overtime and off shifts as neededPactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
