Our Elkhart facility is known for its collaborative culture dedication to safety and investment in employee growth.Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on results-driven Extrusion Supervisor to join our team on first shift. This role is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of all extrusion and compounding lines as well as the testing area across multiple shifts. You will ensure production goals are met quality standards are maintained and safety protocols are followed.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Extrusion Supervisor you will oversee daily operations supervise and support shift supervisors and production/testing teams and monitor production output quality metrics and safety compliance. You will coordinate with Quality Maintenance and Engineering teams to address equipment process or material challenges lead process improvement initiatives and manage staffing training and development. Accurate documentation and collaboration with other departments for new product launches and process changes are also essential.QualificationsCandidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelors degree preferred) at least five years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment (extrusion and compounding experience preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Teams/Zoom and manufacturing software systems. Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills are required along with the ability to meet the physical demands of the role.Work Environment & Physical DemandsWork is performed year-round on a standard manufacturing floor with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts industrial noise heat vibration and airborne particles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided.
