Our Legal Transform and Operate/Contract Solutions team works with clients to improve the performance of enterprise contracting operations and add value to the overall organization. Contract Solutions serves high-profile national and multinational clients across the globe. We are a growing dynamic practice with excellent opportunities for career development.Skills and Attributes for successLeading delivery of project-based engagements involving contract review abstraction analysis and remediation services in response to client transactions and other triggering eventsCreate executive summaries of executed contracts to enable client business teams understanding of risk and compliance with positionsReview redlining and negotiation of broad range of contract types including procurement and sale of services technology data content and productsCollaborate with client stakeholders to mitigate identified risks in the contract language being negotiated and ensure the commercial objectives are fulfilled within the stipulated timeframeUnderstand and work within client specific processes and negotiation strategiesCommunicate independently with the clients business and legal stakeholders with a view to building/strengthening relationships.Work within a team to ensure service delivery in accordance with the agreed project scope ensuring overall client satisfaction and compliance with SLAs and actively identifying client needsLead regular communication forums involving internal and external stakeholdersServe as point of escalation for the project team to address both technical and people management issuesWork to understand implement and facilitate use of Contract Management technologies and AI point solutions to enable delivery services and address client needs.Innovate and improve upon current processes and techniques including in relation to workflow time and knowledge management.Facilitate reporting via daily/weekly/monthly metrics packs to internal and external project stakeholders including members of senior managementTo qualify for the role you must haveBachelors degree with 5 to 7 years of experience in (including combination of) a large multinational corporation law firm or management consulting firmMembership in good standing with a State Bar or relevant certifications (e.g. CPA CIPP/E CIPPM CISA CISSP CISM LPIP PMP)Deep contracting subject matter expertise; ability to work with different contract types and structures and strong issue spotting abilityContract negotiation experience handling volumes across a variety of transactions; ideally on both the buy and sell sideExperience leading workstreams in large data-driven engagementsStrong communication writing and interpersonal skills at all levels including presentation skills both formal and informalFamiliarity working with contracting/ CLM technology and an interest in developing and utilizing leading AI applicationsHighly responsive to the needs of both internal (including reporting managers other project managers and team members) as well as external clientsStrong relationship and people leadership skills be a team player facilitate encourage different points of view and effectively manage any associated conflictHigh energy self-starter ability to work independently analytical quick learner organized flexible to change and drives resultsStrong problem solving analytical and project management skills are desirableIdeally youll also haveJD or masters degree in a preferred field (Information Systems Business Analytics Finance or Accounting)Experience working with legal-adjacent functions (e.g. procurement supply chain commercial) and understanding of non-legal business objectivesWhat we offer youAt EY well develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128400 to $235300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154000 to $267400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
