Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole Description The Quality Control Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and presentation of eyeglass frames and related products. This position is responsible for inspecting products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations to meet company standards. Through collaborative partnerships, we help our customers grow and succeed, fostering a community of shared vision.Key Responsibilities Inspect eyeglass frames and related products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.Handle, clean, and maintain frames to ensure proper presentation before distribution.Manage inventory control by accurately tracking, organizing, and maintaining stock levels.Create, type, and apply product labels and tags to ensure accurate identification and tracking.Process and handle product returns in accordance with company policies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following warehouse safety protocols.Assist in general warehouse duties as needed to support overall efficiency and workflow. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred, ideally in a quality control or inventory management role.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or inconsistencies.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Experience with basic computer systems and warehouse management software is a plus.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsFull-time onsite position based at our Vernon Hills, IL Headquarters Warehouse environment that may be fast-paced with interruptions, distractions, and deadlines.Exposure to varying temperatures, including warm and cold conditions.Moderate noise levels due to warehouse equipment and operations.May be required to stand for extended periods and work in different areas of the warehouse.Regularly required to stand, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.Occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
