Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Shop Visit Cost Analyst on a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team that executes forecasting, powerplant engineering, and shop visit strategy. The Shop Visit Analysis Analyst owns analysis to identify opportunities to reduce shop visit cost.

What You Will Do:

  1. Identify primary shop visit cost drivers via analysis of depot-level maintenance event cost (e.g. shop maintenance; engineering; repair industrialization; and sourcing) and corresponding mitigation activities
  2. Identify secondary shop visit cost drivers via analysis of fleet behavior and business processes
  3. Leverage data and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify cost savings opportunities. Present findings to the F135 organization.
  4. Participate in the Phase 1-3 processes of the event data life cycle and develop a framework for post event analysis.
  5. Drive digital strategy integration, data product & tool development. Responsible for ensuring data integrity of the Shop Visit Cost Dashboard.
  6. Drive CORE key process maturity & improvement efforts

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cost planning and tracking across maintenance repair systems
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with F135, F117 or other P&W Military or Commercial Engines logistics experience
  • Demonstrated skills and proficiency in Powerplant Engineering processes and familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate clearly with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally and translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • CORE Champion or related total quality management system experience

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
