Senior Project Management Specialist - BGS F/A-18 Boeing Captains of Industry (BCOI)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our F/A-18 Boeing Captainsof Industry (BCOI) Depot & Expansion team in Hazelwood MO.In this role you will work closely with functional partners suppliers and our U.S. Navy & Marine Corps customers. Our F/A-18 Fleet & Depot team supports repairs on all A-G aircraft and component readiness at MCAS Beaufort MCAS Cherry Point MCAS Miramar NAS Jacksonville NAS Lemoore NAS North Island NAS Oceana NAS Whidbey Island and NS Norfolk. The team provides technical and logistical solutions to the Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) Depot Artisans Squadrons DLA personnel and customer engineering to support the readiness of the warfighter!Position Responsibilities:Leads proposal technical and cost volume development and project execution by identifying activities resources and tasks required to complete the work statementExecute daily PM duties on the existing contracts and work to improve our metric & financial performanceCreates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plans regularly throughout lifecycle of program or projectManage the Risk Issues and Opportunities and associate mitigation and implementation plansConduct detailed project analyses to gather lessons learned and create historical reports to inform future planningInterface communicate and develop relationships with our DLA customerIntegrates with various business units cross functional teams suppliers and customersLead assessments and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholdersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent military experience5 years experience in a role requiring project / program management skillsExperience leading projects in a cross-functional environmentExperience interfacing with internal and external customersExperience developing presentations for leadershipWilling and able to travel up to 10% of the time domesticallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with and/or managing supply chain processes and functionsExperience using Earned Value Management or similar cost and schedule accounting meansExperience managing contractual deliverablesDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
