Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocation: Columbus, OHEmployment Type: 1st Shift, Full-time, temp-to-hireJob BriefKable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Fabricator for our client. This position operates a variety of machinery and tools within a fire protection fabrication shop to process pipe and related materials. Responsibilities include using equipment such as cold saws, groovers, threaders, grinders, and pneumatic banders, moving pipe along the production line, and operating forklifts as needed.What’s a Typical Day Like?This position performs various duties within a fire protection fabrication shop using a variety of machinery / tools. Additional responsibilities may include operating an auto welding machina (similar to a CNC machine)Operate machine tools: Cold saw, Groover, Threader, Grinder and Pneumatic banderHandle movement of pipe along the production lineUse forklift as needed to move productCompletes training curriculum including but not limited to safety requirements while demonstrating an acceptable level of competence as defined by managementFollow all company policies and proceduresWhat Are the Requirements of the Job?18 years oldBasic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals with the ability to read a tape measure in “increments”Previous welding experience is helpful, not requiredMetal working experience preferred, not requiredAbility to work in fast-paced environment.Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.Capability to stand for prolonged periods of timeCommunication skills.Why Choose Kable Workforce Solutions?Weekly PayExclusive Access Opportunities to V.I.P.
