SUMMARY:Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC) a division of Motion is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an entry level opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company. JOB DUTIES:Build customer assembliesOperate Test Stand for functional tests as requiredReceive and put away inventoryPrepare orders for shipment (packing palletizing etc.)Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists process orders and manage upcoming ordersEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:Mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsAttention to detailFluid power experience a plusWork consists of standing at a workbench most of the dayAbility to lift 50 poundsFamiliarity with common office software applications (Outlook Word etc.)Willingness to learn and develop new skills as requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Requires manual dexterity arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination.
