People wholl bring new perspectives solve tough problems and thrive as part of a team.If thats you and this role fits we want to hear from you.Join the power movement as a Facilities and Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installation of and maintenance for various facilities and manufacturing equipment. These responsibilities will be based at our campus in Devens Massachusetts but may periodically be asked to perform work in our Somerville Massachusetts location.What youll do:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment such as CNC machining centers process ovens and specialty manufacturing equipmentProvide maintenance support for projects such as the installation relocation or modification of manufacturing equipment.Provide second shift maintenance coverage for CFS buildings and facilities equipmentUtilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities systemsAssist in the development of maintenance procedures and schedulesWhat were looking for:High school diploma/equivalency certificate or higherMinimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentMinimum of 7 years experience in the mechanical electrical hydraulic and plumbing repair of complex manufacturing equipment and the plant systems that support themDemonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical and electrical drawings manuals and reportsProficiency with MS Office products such as Word Excel Project and PowerPointAbility to take directions from Supervisors and work independentlyDesire to work and contribute in a fast-paced startup R&D environment with daily changesExcellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skillsMeticulous attention to detail and cleanliness with hands-on workAbility and patience to work through projects from start to finish including assembly and testingBonus points for:Experience with lean manufacturing 5S and Six Sigma principlesForklift experienceCrane or lifting experienceMust-have requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyPerform activities such as typing standing stooping climbing and sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat cold noise fumes strong magnets lead high voltage and cryogenicsWillingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call$30 - $43 an hourSalary range for this full-time position equity benefits.The actual salary will depend on level location qualifications and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
