Facilities Engineering ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeings Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager to join our Puget Sound North Regional team in Puyallup WA (Frederickson).This position will oversee a team of Center of Expertise (COE) engineers located at our Frederickson and Auburn sites. The role involves providing technical guidance and fostering motivation to ensure the teams success.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one the listed location.Position Responsibilities:Lead guide and manage Engineering team activitiesDevelop and execute process plans implement policies and procedure and set operational goalsAcquire resources for engineering and processes provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvementsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reportsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesParticipate in equipment make/buy decisions; participate in source selection and provide technical oversight of suppliersCoach mentor develop and motivate employeesDomestic travel up to 25%Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering field3 years of experience leading teamsExperience using Corrigo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems (CMMS)Experience with oversight of budgets and financial dataUp to 25% domestic travelPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):10 years of experience in Mechanical or Facilities EngineeringExperience leading process improvementsExperience developing strategic long range business plansExperience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadersExperience using MS Office SuiteExperience in change managementStrategic decision making planning and organizational skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
