Facilities Maintenance Technician at ABR Employment Services
JOB DESCRIPTION
ABR is hiring 1st shift Facilities Maintenance Technicians for a growing printing company in Sun Prairie, WI. This role is perfect for hands-on individuals who enjoy both building and grounds maintenance, have mechanical aptitude, and are eager to expand their skills in industrial facilities maintenance.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely, maintaining both the exterior grounds and interior building systems. You'll also have opportunities to learn industrial mechanical maintenance skills and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain exterior grounds: mowing, trimming, snow and ice removal.
Operate and maintain floor-cleaning equipment; keep interior production areas safe and clean.
Assist with facility equipment maintenance: fluid checks, oil changes, coolant replacement, and lubrication.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues such as leaks or lubrication failures.
Operate and maintain facility machinery including lawnmowers, snow-removal equipment, and pressure washers.
Support electro-mechanical technicians on repairs and projects.
Participate in 6S and Lean initiatives to improve facility efficiency.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working hands-on with tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious.
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Experience in grounds, facilities, or industrial mechanical maintenance preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
