City of Jersey Village Building Maintenance DepartmentFull-Time Non-Exempt Essential PersonnelAre you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping facilities running safely and efficiently The City of Jersey Village is looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Building Maintenance team. This role is essential in supporting our city buildings ensuring clean safe and well-maintained facilities for employees and the public.About the PositionAs a Facilities Maintenance Technician youll perform a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks-including repairs preventative maintenance custodial work and troubleshooting building systems. No two days are the same! From HVAC checks and electrical or plumbing fixes to event setups-youll be a key part of keeping city operations running smoothly.This position requires flexibility including occasional early mornings nights weekends or holiday shifts.
