Facilities Maintenance Technician at Embraer

POSITION SUMMARYFacilities Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains buildings/facilities. Uses expertise for diagnosis and for emergency repairs.JOB RESPONSIBLITIESProvides preventive and cost-efficient repairs.Conduct routine or periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities machinery and equipment.Consults with engineers and vendors.Oversee routine maintenance and cleaning duties of the break rooms coffee stations bathroom checks hangar and office areas.Maintains and cleans when necessary the grounds gardens and buildings.Assists with furniture set-up and office assembly/removal.Set up tables cabinets chairs shelves etc. for conferences and meetingsESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESEducation:High School Diploma.Experience:Generally there is 3 to 5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance.Experience in infrastructure maintenance activities including carpentry plumbing painting electrical welding assembly set up and removal of furniture.Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Assignments require Comprehensive Knowledge of all possible tasks and responsibilities within their Technical Area.Skills are broadly applied in multiple Technical Areas.Maintenance techniques related to carpentry plumbing painting electrical and welding.Professional drivers license.Knowledge of the methods tools materials and equipment used in the construction maintenance repair and operation of facilities.Some knowledge of office (Excel and Word) internet explorer and lotus notes.ENS system company policies and procedures.Working Conditions / Environment/ Special RequirementsAbility to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA State and Federal regulations.Embraer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Corrosion Inspection,Accounts Assistant Credit Control,Corporate Risk Management,Downstream,Informatica,Entry Level Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
