JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Facilities Maintenance Team contributes to the overall success of our business by ensuring that our showrooms and commercial retail properties are fully functional and safe for our customers and employees. This position plays a key role in supporting store operations through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, professional vendor interaction, and reducing unnecessary contractor reliance where practical. As part of a highly motivated team working in a fast-paced environment, this position supports multiple retail locations primarily throughout the Anchorage and Mat-Su areas with additional locations in Fairbanks and Sterling and requires a self-motivated, organized, dependable, and safety-conscious individual who can maintain a professional presence in active store environments. Details: Full Time - Days - 2 consecutive days off each week PTO (136 Hours) Holiday Pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 401K Retirement Plan with a generous Employer Match Employee Discounts Primary Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and repair work across multiple facility sites Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general facility repairs Respond to maintenance requests and operational issues in a timely and professional manner Support active retail store environments while minimizing disruption to store operations Assist in reducing outside contractor costs through in-house maintenance capabilities where appropriate Maintain professional communication with store managers, vendors, and fellow team members Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed Document completed work orders, repairs, and facility concerns using company systems/mobile applications Support overall facility appearance, safety, and operational reliability Travel between assigned properties as required. Requirements: Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check. Experience in commercial facilities maintenance or related field Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to safely use tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Professional communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of: • HVAC systems • Plumbing systems • Electrical troubleshooting and minor repair • Carpentry and general building maintenance Strong attention to detail. Able to lift/push up to 50 pounds. Able to be on feet walking, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling for 8 hours. Participation in occasional on-call or emergency response situations as needed Professional appearance and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications: EPA certification or HVAC certifications Experience with rooftop HVAC units and preventative maintenance programs Experience in retail or multi-site commercial facilities Familiarity with mobile work order systems or maintenance applications General understanding of building automation or controls systems Apply Now!
