Facilities Maintenance Technician at HR Recruiting Services

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our client.Schedule: Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat 2nd shift 2:30pm 11:00pmSun-Thurs or Tues-Sat 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00amShift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.Responsibilities:Emphasis on warehouse maintenance experience.Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and safely.Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule. Desire skill sets include hydraulic plumbing carpentry and building maintenance major overhaul of equipment fabrication of parts air conditioning and heating system and adjustment. Stay abreast of current technology regarding job duties.Perform inspection of doors and dock plates and all other building and support areas. Recognize problems and repairs before breakdown occurs. Independently troubleshoot and make repairs.Maintain accurate repair records through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Follow company policies and procedures. Ensure a safe work environment.Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.Requirements1-2 years experience in a similar role. Will need to bring your own tools. Ability to lift-up to 50lbs perform repetitious arm wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures. Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead and to work in or under the equipment. Requires manual dexterity overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and heights. Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools forklifts and pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.Work environment may range in temperatures from 90 to 0 FMental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
