You will share in the teams impact on all aspects of industrial maintenance with emphasis on specific trade area(s) of facilities building systems. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight!We are seeking a Facilities Associate Technician to join our facilities Operations team located in Van Horn Texas.Primary job responsibilities include maintaining safe and operational facilities for our internal and external stakeholders including maintenance and repairs of the facilities space management and directly supporting the facilities operations during testing and launches.Responsibilities:Respond to facilities requests promptly using the maintenance and operations work order system; work orders are accurately inputted scheduled closed and tracked with communication to the requestorWork cooperatively and effectively with facilities staff without direct supervision on some assigned projectsAssists in making recommendations and implementing improvementsMove and arrange furniture and equipment; set up facilities for special events testing and launchesSupports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needsProvides technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processesQualifications (Required Skills and Experience):3 years of experience in facilities maintenance and operations3 years of experience operating heavy equipment2 years of experience in a role that requires the use of IBM Maximo software suite2 years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)Culture StatementDont meet all desired requirements Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single desired qualification.
