Facilities PlannerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Facilities Planner (Level 2) to support the Facilities Maintenance team onsite in Portland Oregon. Position Responsibilities:Compiles data from headcount projections and business plans to forecast use and occupancy allocation capital and expense budgets building utilization and density to manage real property assets and site cost allocations for Company space and facility requirementsSupports projects through use of established project management toolsResearches analyzes data and drafts proposals for team reviewInteract with facilities management and customers for approval of conceptual plans and participates in conflict resolutionGathers information for business initiatives and team activities to enhance operational efficiency product quality service delivery and asset utilizationAnalyze group and site strategies to develop proposals and plansEvaluates site capabilities manufacturing processes and technology forecasts and incorporates these into asset use strategiesInteracts with internal organizations and senior level management to identify and assess impact to the business operating planPrepares business case analysisCoordinate office relocations furniture moves and maintenance activitiesCoordinate meeting and event setupsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)1 years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects1 years of experience preparing time cost and labor estimatesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1 years of experience using AutoCAD or a similar softwareDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This role is primarily first shift; however there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
