Facilities Specialist at Park Village Pines
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform maintenance, repair and construction projects to ensure the facilities and grounds are maintained in excellent working order and appearance.
Job Duties:
o Complete projects as directed by the Facilities Manager/Worxhub in a timely and accurate way.
o Inspect facilities for projects and needs; Repair or report to 443/WorxHub system immediately.
o Coordinate with Facilities Manager on prioritization and project details.
o Keep all areas and equipment organized.
o Replace light bulbs and ballasts as needed.
o Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
o Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Requirements:
o Able to identify and communicate with staff, residents, family members, and vendors.
o Communicate with Facilities Manager on projects that need attention.
o Ability to concentrate, understand, and remember instructions regarding task assignments.
o Ability to operate a notebook/laptop computer.
o Must support our Mission Statement.
o Adhere to all policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook.
Must possess ability to be self-guided
Physical Requirements:
o Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
o Push/pull carts weighing an average of 50-75 lbs on wheeled casters on carpeted floors.
o Frequently twist, stoop, bend, kneel, squat and climb stairs
o Stands, walks up to 100% in an 8 hour shift.
Additional Requirements:
o Able to wear gloves and other protective equipment.
o Reads and complies with warnings and information on equipment and written materials.
o Knowledgeable of use and care of hazardous chemicals such as soaps, disinfectants, etc.
o Frequent exposure to latex, vinyl, plastic or materials used in personal protective equipment.
o Must participate in the Facilities On-Call rotation.
