JOB DESCRIPTION:MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLEWorking under limited supervision maintains facilities to minimize breakdowns (particularly for production). Performs all duties required to test calibrate adjust repair and maintain mechanical electromechanical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Diagnoses disassembles cleans repairs and replaces defective parts of complex equipment. Installs and maintains a broad range of equipment as well as electrical gas air and water systems. Performs facility maintenance on a preventive or emergency basis as required with a particular focus to maintain all work areas of the facility in a safe condition.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical electrical and building systems. Conducts preventive maintenance on all equipment by cleaning adjusting repairing calibrating and replacing parts. Responsible for repairs to buildings including but not limited to repairs to walls ceilings doors painting etc. Interpret blueprints and schematics. Implement methods practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities to identify and address recurring problems with machinery equipment or parts. Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair. Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence. Identifies and resolve maintenance issues; escalate issues when appropriate. Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and other regulatory requirements Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations other regulatory requirements Company policies operating procedures processes and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees customers contractors and vendors.Experience/BackgroundExperienceMinimum 1 year The base pay for this position is $23.25 $46.55/hourIn specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
