Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.Summary:The Facility Head has complete financial control of the facility and its operations along with the responsibility to manage all aspects of customer requirements including but not limited to: productivity customer service inventory accuracy shipping receiving P&L responsibility rate requirements and development of incentive programs. This position is accountable to provide leadership development of associates all safety and human resource programs and metrics.Key Responsibilities: Ensure Customer contract requirements are understood and utilized to meet business expectationsBe proactive and creative specific to improving & optimizing changes that enhance the Customer value propositionRecognize/Develop opportunities for growthDemonstrate consistent awareness of the business profile as it changes and understand respective ramificationsMaximize the performance of the site warehouse management system to ensure:Care custody and control of Customer inventoryProductivity and Space utilization (efficient product placement etc.)AccuracyProper utilization of systemsManage a safe secure clean and fair work environment for AssociatesEnsure processes are documented in SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Ensure company policies are communicated administered and enforcedAsset control responsibilities to ensure the Associates have required tools to achieve success against their goalsMaximize the performance of the siteLeadership design & execution of action plans projects and best practice sharing / implementationDevelop / Achieve agreed budget revenue profit (P&L) for siteTrend & Impact analysis that leads to execution of improvement action plans regarding service levels to ensure that performance metrics to meet Customer and Company requirementsTake an active role in site workload planning and volume forecasting (i.e. staffing equipment space)Participate in the management training development of Supervisors/Managers as well as hiring & retention of hourly and supervisory staff consistent with the site turnover objectivesManage and insure timely associate performance reviews development succession planning on-boarding and development of the Management TeamQualifications: College Degree PreferredMinimum 7-10 years industry experience in a 3PL environment and company owned distribution center or warehouse facility.Minimum 10 years supervisory or managerial experience.Labor Relations ExperienceStrong knowledge of handling drayageFinancial Acumen ability to make effective decisions and experience managing projects and riskSkills in planning controlling staffing budgeting organizing and communicating are required.At times may be required significantly extended shift hours based on business needA hands-on management approach that encourages change and creative problem-solvingAbility to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environmentAbility to interact effectively at multiple levels in support of customer relationshipsA commitment to continuous improvement in an ever-changing industryExcellent communication and presentation skills and high integrityStrong relationship-building skillsAbility to groom and grow others High level of computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and SharePoint Excellent networking relationship building/maintenance and communication and presentation skills#INDEEDCompany Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401k Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range:$140k-$145k annually*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
