Pay Range The pay range for this role is $17.00-$23.00 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.Benefits

Job Summary The Facility Maintenance Assistant supports Facility Maintenance Mechanics by assisting with a variety of tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, pressure washing, and general upkeep of facility areas. This role also provides support with routine, lower-level maintenance requests and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Additionally, the Facility Maintenance Assistant ensures the cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of maintenance tools and workshop areas. Responsibilities and Duties- Assist Facility Maintenance Mechanics with general maintenance tasks and day-to-day facility upkeep
- Perform routine cleaning duties as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing facility areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, work areas, and equipment
- Support lower-level maintenance requests
- Monitor and restock maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as needed
- Safely operate basic tools and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Remove debris and ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and hazard-free
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate team members
- Perform other general labor or support tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in general labor, cleaning or facility maintenance
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Experience operating equipment such as pressure washers or other cleaning tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to complete tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer or while standing.
