Facility Maintenance Technician (700AM to 330PM) at Pride Mobility & Quantum Rehab

Hourly Wage: $24.75DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARYTo perform maintenance and repair of the facilities equipment and grounds of a manufacturing facility and distribution centerRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESConduct routine maintenance on facilities manufacturing equipment and groundsPerform routine and emergency maintenance on production machines and toolsPerform basic electrical work such as safely troubleshooting electrical issues with outlets breakers fuses electronic controls and relocation of circuitsPerform basic plumbing such as fixture repair and installation and locating and repairing leaksPerform basic carpentry such as general framing installation remodeling or repairing damaged framework or other structures/fixturesUtilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance diagnose root cause and make reliability improvement recommendationsTroubleshoot complex problems when the repair is not immediately visibleUse schematics hand tools electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration diagnosis and repair/maintenance of equipmentRelocate and setup employee workspaces and equipmentMaintain the grounds and common areas including lawns flowerbeds shrubbery parking areas recyclables and trash removal as neededPerform and maintain inventory on repair supplies keeping them neat and organizedCoordinate the work of external contractors on larger or more complex projects as neededMentor team members and be a positive influenceEnsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents incidents or injuries are promptly reported to managementComplete the Annual CTPAT Security TrainingFocus on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgmentWork effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectationsAssist with organization and cleaning of work area keeping aisles and walkways clear at all timesPride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessaryREQUIRED SKILLSMust be a creative team player friendly professional detail-oriented and honestMust have the ability to:Multi-task problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced working environmentPerform root cause analysis to determine appropriate solutions to problemsTroubleshoot repair and maintain manufacturing equipmentUse general shop tools drills grinders band saws and hand toolsWork independently with limited supervisionWork outdoors throughout all seasonsUse ladders and lifting equipmentObtain a powered-industrial truck certification if neededBe available on an on-call basis when neededPush/Pull/Lift up to 40 lbs.Must have:Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvementA willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methodsExcellent organizational and time management skillsIntermediate mechanical and electrical maintenance skillsFamiliarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electric CodeGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic mathematical skillsIntermediate working knowledge of general maintenance and grounds keepingBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and ExcelREQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years of experience using general mechanical electrical plumbing and other associated skillsPREFERRED EXPERIENCEAt least 5 years of experience in maintaining and keeping a facility and its equipment in safe functional clean and orderly condition using general mechanical electrical plumbing and other associated skills in manufacturing or distribution environment preferredAt least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician preferredCurrent or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferredREQUIRED EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or GEDPREFERRED EDUCATIONCertified Maintenance & Reliability Technician Certificate (CMRT) preferredCertification or degree in Industrial Maintenance preferredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the futureDETAILSThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusiveThis is a safety sensitive positionIn exceptional circumstances some of the physical requirements of this position may be modified or eliminated as a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities ActPride Mobility Products/Quantum Rehab is an Equal Opportunity employer.
