JOB DESCRIPTION

Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives Our mission at TDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work We are currently searching for a high caliber Facilities Operations Coordinator to oversee inventory and ordering of necessary ocular, tissue and organ recovery supplies to ensure operations can run smoothly.

DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Tennessee Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

1. Coordinates the overall cleaning, decontamination, assembly, processing and dispensing of recovery instruments and equipment needed for daily operations.

2. Controls and performs duties to ensure repairs and maintenance of ocular, tissue, and organ recovery facility equipment, grounds storage and workspaces.

3. Responsible for performing a quality assurance inspection and registering all incoming orders to meet acceptable parameters prior to distributing for use.

4. Maintains logs of all items as per established protocols. Manage all supply orders per established par levels and protocols.

5. Maintains stockroom areas through organizing, cleaning, and performing par level assessments on a regular basis. Analyzes supply inventory and provides feedback to management if adjustments are needed.

6. Coordinates disposal of biohazard waste. Complies with safety regulations and maintains accurate records of such disposal.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

    Lift and move up to 75 lbs.Education Required: High school diploma or GED or equivalent required. AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.One year of experience with facilities & supplies management requiredOne year quality assurance or related experience required.Licenses/ Certifications: Valid driver license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Schedule: 5 day work week. Sun. - Thur., 9AM- 5PM, subject to change
