Facility Specialist (Flatwood) at County Commission/Recreation Board

Salary InformationCompensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies**Nature of Work***Thisposition is located at 360 Williams Dr. Montgomery AL 36110 in the northernpart of Montgomery County. Driving to this location each day is consideredreporting to work and that the county does not provide mileage reimbursementfor commuting. ***NATURE OF WORK: The fundamental reasonthis classification exists is to perform participatory recreation work. These full time positions are located atMontgomery County Parks and Recreation Community Centers. Employees oversee the use of a recreationfacility to include maintenance scheduling and documenting/reporting. Theprimary work responsibilities of this position are: performs reporting duties; monitorsthe facility; performs administrative duties; oversees recreation programs andactivities in the facility; completes department forms reports and records; plans and schedules seasonal programs by estimation; actively leadsrecreation programs as needed; oversees/supervises rec aides and volunteers;and designs flyers brochures and calendars of events in coordination withCounty Manager of Public Relations and Director of Parks and Recreation.
