Factory and Program Leadership Development Senior ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Factory and Program Leadership Development Senior Manager with expertise in Learning and Development (L&D) and Factory Operations / Program Management experience to join our team in Seattle WA; Renton WA; Everett WA; Berkeley MO; Hazelwood MO; Arlington VA; North Charleston SC; Plano TX or San Antonio TX.In this role you will have the unique opportunity to lead a team of development specialists to support the business units to solve their most important leadership development challenges. Your primary responsibility in this position will be to lead a team to execute leadership development programs supporting business priorities and delivering measurable business impact to our leaders. They are forward looking take action and ownership of developing others.Position Responsibilities:Lead a team to build and deliver core and common Enterprise L&D solutions across our multiple businessesLead a team to determine when BU-specific solutions must be developed to address critical requirements and identify opportunities to test and scale solutions across the EnterpriseManage and ensure execution of program/portfolio effectivenessPartner with business leaders L&D leadership team and HR business partners to understand key priorities and learner needs and execute strategy for leadership programs & learning offeringsApply cutting-edge best practices in adult learning theory to design develop and deliver L&D solutions that drive measurable improvements in employee capability and proficiencyProvide strategic leadership to the Factory & Program Leadership Development teamTake a data-driven approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of L&D interventionsCollaborate with the Enterprise L&D team to share best practices resources and lessons learnedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Fulfillment Quality or Engineering role5 years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills3 years of experience in senior leadership in a matrixed cross-functional environment3 years of experience simultaneously managing multiple projects prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment requiring leading through influenceExperience with adult learning and/or learning and developmentExperience working with cross-functional teams in a large highly matrixed organizationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher10 years of experience with the Boeing Production System in a Manufacturing Fulfillment Quality or Engineering role3 years of facilitation of leadership developmentExperience with adult learning theory and contemporary practices for the design development delivery and measurement of L&D solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationExperience designing and delivering leadership programsExperience in aligning learning strategy with business strategy to drive the highest level of organizational performanceDrug-Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsAt Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
