OverviewThis person will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in biology courses, which may include; Anatomy and Physiology (lecture or laboratory or both).   QualificationsEDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline. Required Master's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline. Preferred Coursework in or experience using computers in instruction. PreferredEXPERIENCE Teaching Anatomy & Physiology at the secondary or college level for at least two semesters, both lecture and laboratory. RequiredABILITIES AND SKILLS Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures. Required Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, and the public. Required Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff. Required Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required Developed organizational skills. Required Interdisciplinary approach to education. Required Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues. Required ResponsibilitiesInstruct and evaluate students in biology courses which may include; Anatomy and Physiology (lecture or laboratory or both).Maintain accurate written records of student performance.Take attendance and maintain records of student attendance.Participate in School assessment process.Maintain office hours according to the standardized part-time teaching agreement.Physical Standards and Special Job FeaturesExposure to various chemicals and preservatives.Pay Transparency The part-time rate for 2025/26 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven.
