Applicants must show a history of work in these or closely aligned areas. The official position title is defined as “Faculty Associate – Research.” The Physics Department has a long history of excellence in materials, sensing, and weapon systems. This position would support growing research programs in microfluidics, 3D printing, and biofuel cells, in addition to supporting similar efforts in other departments across campus. As an employee of the Naval Postgraduate School, the incumbent would also have the opportunity to pursue graduate studies in a related field.
