Faculty Part-time (Doctor of Physical Therapy Cardiopulmonary Lab) at UMass Lowell

General Summary of Position:The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is searching for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Teaching opportunities are available in the Spring 2026 semester. We seek candidates with expertise in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and acute care.Minimum Qualifications (Required):Masters degree in Physical Therapy Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree preferredAt least 2 years in acute care and/or cardiopulmonary physical therapyPhysical therapy license in Massachusetts (current)The ability to work effectively with diverse student faculty and staff populationsAdditional qualifications:Candidates with a DPT or higher degree will be given priorityPrevious teaching expertise at the university/college level is desirablePrevious clinical education supervision is desirableWillingness to grow and learn with our UML Physical Therapy and Kinesiology communityDoctor of Physical Therapy degree experience with classroom teachingSpecial Instructions to Applicants:Initial review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
