Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate across specialties to deliver leading-edge treatments support transformative clinical trials and improve outcomes for patients throughout the region and beyond.Joining the Knight means becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a life-threatening disease through excellence in research education and care.This position offers flexible hours and a hybrid schedule with on-site work at OHSUs South Waterfront and Marquam Hill campuses.Applicants are required to submit a current resume and a Letter of Interest at the time of application in order to be considered for this position.Function/Duties of PositionThis Faculty Recruitment Associate provides employment operations support to the Knight Cancer Institute and Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology with a primary focus on recruitment activities and administrative HR operations. They will partner closely with the Knight Cancer Institutes Senior Faculty Recruiter hiring managers and leadership to deliver a seamless experience for both candidates and employees.Responsibilities include:Supporting the full recruitment lifecycle by managing position request processes scheduling candidate interviews and coordinating on-site visits;Supporting the sourcing and screening of applicants;Hosting and escorting candidates during on-site visits;Posting and updating job advertisements across OHSUs job portal and external sites;Providing administrative support for offers of employment;Tracking action items through meeting minutes.Required QualificationsEducation and Experience: Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant experienceRelevant experience should include recruitment sourcing or talent acquisition.Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Strong interpersonal and customer service skillsExemplary tact discretion and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive issues and individuals at all levelsExcellent communication analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbalAbility to prioritize multiple tasks at one timeAbility to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problemsProficiency with computers running Windows and PC applications e.g. MS Excel Word and PowerPointStrong proficiency in Outlook calendaringPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in business administration human resources or related fieldExperience working in oncologyExperience working at a healthcare or an academic institutionExperience supporting Faculty Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) recruitmentRecruitment or staffing experience proactively sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill positionsWorking knowledge of Smartsheet Oracle Discoverer SharePoint Adobe Acrobat Professional Qualtrics and Pcard reconciliationAdditional DetailsYoull also find a commitment to belonging.
