This is a full-time exempt position with responsibility for directing the Graduate Educational Administration programs. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented academic leader with demonstrated experience in providing vision and direction for K-12 schools as well as experience working in a higher education environment. This is a 12-month position who reports to the Assistant Dean of Curriculum Licensure and Assessment.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide vision direction and overall administration of the programs that lead to #5051 Principal License #5010 Director of Instruction #5003 Superintendent #5008 Business Administrator & Director of SPED and Pupil Services #5080Take initiative and implement a student recruitment planAdminister and assess student faculty and program data for WI educational administrative programsProvide student advising support for all programsAlign courses to current educational administration requirements incorporating best practices standards instructional materials and toolsDevelop relationships and connections with public and private school partners to create implement and support professional development effortsFoster and encouragement enrollment into CUWs doctoral program in Leadership in Innovation & Continuous ImprovementConduct peer-reviewed research and scholarship and provide service to the university according to standards outlined in the Concordia University faculty handbookProvide oversight or assign university supervisor for practicum experiencesOther duties as assignedKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesExcellent relational skillsStrong written and verbal communication organizational and technology skillsA minimum of three years teaching pupil service and/or administrative experience in a public private or parochial settingWorking knowledge of the licensing requirements for teachers and administrators in the State of WisconsinSupportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)Education & ExperienceDoctorate in educational leadership/administration or closely related field requiredPk-12 administrative experience required and licensure preferredExperience working in a higher education environment preferredCandidates must be Christian and faculty are expected to fulfill the universitys mission to help students develop in mind body and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world via teaching scholarship and servicePhysical Demands/Equipment (Click to View)Compensation & BenefitsThis is a full-time exempt (salary) faculty position.
