Baxter Law is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of family law experience to join our team in the beautiful Old Mill District of Bend, Oregon. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in family law matters, including litigation, negotiation, and mediation Conduct legal research using Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Manage caseload with a high level of independence while collaborating with the team Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Oregon Strong understanding of legal principles, procedures, and court practices Proficient legal research skills (Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis) Excellent writing, drafting, communication, and negotiation abilities Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Able to work both independently and collaboratively Prior legal administrative experience is a plus Position Details: In-person role, 32-40 hours per week Competitive salary: starting at $80,000/year DOE Comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
