Family Lawyer at Modern Law PLLC

We are looking for family law attorneys who want to join a mostly remote progressive team with incredible training, mentorship, and support. Our firm is fast-growing in Pima County and looking for experienced attorneys who want to serve clients while working in a tech-forward and supportive environment.

$100,000+ DOE

• Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
• Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed
• Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
• Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action

• 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Prior work or studies in criminal justice preferred
• Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants
• Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required
