Now is your chance to apply your passion to our mission.Position Summary:We're looking for someone to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Outpatient) who: Maintains responsibility for providing expert clinical care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans and provides patient care in collaboration with the attending physician. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions. Assists in medical/surgical care of patients and evaluates responses in collaboration with the attending/consulting physicians.Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.Education:• Bachelor's Degree: PreferredRequired Licenses/Certifications:Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: RequiredNurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: RequiredRegistered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: RequiredOR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: RequiredAbout Delano:Located just 30 miles north of Bakersfield, Delano is a small, underserved community with strong community values. The Bakersfield/Delano area is 2 hours from Los Angeles, the central coast, and Sequoia National Park.
