Manager, Inline Allocation at Nike

You are part of a collaborative team operating in a fast paced evolving environment.WHAT YOULL WORK ONDevelop and execute allocation strategies for the Nike Retail Store side of our businessLead a team of allocators responsible for allocating product to our store locations across the US.Create evolve and utilize reports and tools to analyze your business to support decisions that maximize sales inventory turn and ultimately profitabilityEnsure that consistent tools and reports are utilized by all allocatorsLead the effort to manage inventory in-season highlighting risk and making cancel recommendationsUnderstand the styles that pay the bills and prioritize them accordinglyLead the creation and maintenance of size curves to ensure core sizes are protectedPartner with Marketplace Ops & Supply Chain to ensure units arrive at stores in an efficient & timely mannerWHO YOU WILL WORK WITHThis role will report into the Director Inline Allocations NA and work closely with the Retail Allocations Management & leadership teams. Key stakeholders include Merchandising Planning Operations and Concept teams.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelors degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training.5 years of experience related allocation planning or retail experience with at least 2 of those years in allocationExperience managing multiple direct reportsHigh level working knowledge of retail mathAbility to communicate persuasively and influentially both verbally and in writingProven experience utilizing data to capture trendsto make decisions that will positively impact the businessHigh levelproficiency in Excel with a demonstrated history of developing tools and reports utilizing complex formulas pivot tables and other advanced functions (preferred not required)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities with a strong focus on collaborationAbility to handle ambiguity & champion changeAbility to travel up to 10%Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education experience or trainingWe offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers sign language interpreters accessible and single location for in-person interviews closed captioning and other reasonable modifications as needed.
