Family Medicine Urgent Care physician job in Missouri : Locum Tenens Opportunity Springfield, Missouri (Urgent Care)Clinical Role: Seeking 7 physicians for an urgent care group in Springfield, MO Start Date: December 2, 2025 ongoing assignment 12-hour shifts consistent scheduling available No call required Preference given to candidates willing to cover weekends and holidays Schedule can be booked out in advance, with preference for blocksPractice Highlights: Hospital is stroke certified Modern, state-of-the-art facilities with onsite lab, mobile X-ray, and EKGs Support team includes medical assistants and radiology techs Must be comfortable working independently (no nurse support) Procedures include: sutures, wound care, incision & drainage, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, and blood draws Epic EMR experience preferredCandidate Requirements: Must see patients of all ages Proof of 50 patient encounters in past 12 months related to requested privileges Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds Must be residency trained and ABMS or AOB certified (no other boards accepted) Active Missouri license required Current BLS (AHA only) ACLS and PALS preferredReferral Bonus:Know someone who would be a great fit?
