Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNSCS is looking for a Family Partner to join our Children's After School Program (CASP). The Children’s After School Program is a therapeutic program for youth ages 7-13. The program provides milieu treatment including behavior management/modification and facilitation of therapeutic groups. The Family Partner is a paraprofessional that reports to the Program Manager. This position is designed for someone with lived experience as a parent or direct caregiver of a youth in their family with significant social, emotional, behavioral health, medical or trauma-related needs. This position is part-time 20 hours per week. Bilingual Spanish required ($2,500 language differential) What you’ll do:Supervise children during program activities Intervene during a crisis using appropriate techniques including WELLE restraint.Drive program van and accompany other staff during ride.Complete daily documentation of children’s progress in the milieu.Perform duties as a Family Partner including maintaining contact with caregivers and conduct outreach to their families in their homes and communities as necessary.Other duties as assigned by program manager.
